On Wednesday 14 August, the Prep children went on an excursion to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, the Fire Museum in the city. They learnt about the emergency workers in our community and what uniforms they wear. They also saw a vintage fire engine and horse-drawn cart which were used by firefighters in the past. Each child dressed up in a uniform and was able to climb into a real fire truck. It was a wonderful, and fun, learning experience for all!
