On Wednesday 14 August, a team of 24 of Carmel School’s best Ultimate Frisbee players travelled to City Beach Oval to compete for the State Schools Championship. Three teams across two age categories competed in a total of 21 games over the course of the day. Carmel exceeded expectations by only losing a total of three games for the whole day. Our Junior boys team had a tough draw coming up against Year 11 and 12 students from other schools. They lost one game for the day and were eventually crowned champions for their age category after defeating All Saints College in the final. Our Senior boys team went undefeated on the day and were crowned overall champions after defeating Carine SHS and Guildford Grammar in their finals. Congratulations to all competitors for an excellent day.
