Week 8 was Wellness Week in the High School: a chance for students and teachers to refocus and reinvigorate themselves ahead of a busy assessment period.  Each day the Year 10s organised activities during recess and lunch times that aimed to encourage all students to get involved with something different during their breaks. These activities focused on the eight ingredients of wellness which include physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual aspects. Teachers wore bright yellow RUOK t-shirts all week to encourage students to speak up about their worries or stresses and look to ask their peers if they’re doing ok. The week also included a visit from some of the teachers’ puppies, wheelchair basketball and the athletics carnival to finalise the week. A big thank you to all contributors for the week and well done to all students who said YES to something different and enjoyed the various activities on offer.
