Parents' group seated in library

Carmel Kidlets is our very own parents' group for the Carmel community. The Kidlets get together every Wednesday morning from 8.40am - 9.30am in the Primary School library, for some social time with one another and 'Ivrit with Irit.'

Morah Irit incorporates fun, educational activities including music and movement, storytelling and drama in a friendly and nurturing environment that focuses on the Jewish culture. The Chaggim and simple Hebrew words are introduced and experienced through crafts, painting, songs, stories and games.

The purpose of the group is to encourage Jewish identity, values and culture, alongside familiarity with Carmel. The sessions are designed with the Kidlets in mind, meaning they are fun and engaging and encourage participation. Parents, grandparents, and other carers are also encouraged to participate and the morning provides a wonderful opportunity to catch up with other parents and community members over a cup of tea or coffee.

At Carmel Kidlets, children enjoy special time with their parents and interaction with other toddlers, smoothing the way to Kindy and Pre-Primary. These relationships also foster a sense of belonging to our Carmel Misphaca (family).

All are welcome. Please email or search 'Carmel Kidlets' on Facebook for more information.
