Matilda bay Perth

Perth is considered Australia’s best-kept secret, it consistently ranks in the top 20 most liveable cities in the world, and is described by many who visit and live here as ‘extraordinary.’ Local residents benefit from a safe, secure, affordable, high-quality lifestyle, with access to some of the best outdoor recreation options in Australia. It is the ideal place to raise a family.

Perth beaches are frequently voted as the world’s best tourist destinations, and Western Australia is the largest and one of the most diverse States in Australia. With an average of 8.8 hours of sunshine a day and a very moderate winter where temperatures rarely drop below 10 degrees Celsius, WA locals live and benefit from a very outdoorsy lifestyle, one of the many features that attract young families looking to set up home in Australia. Interests as diverse as surfing, snorkelling, bushwalking, mountain biking, visiting galleries and museums, dining out or engaging in theatre can easily be nurtured in Perth. With more square metres of parkland per person than most other cities, Perth is also a fantastic place to relax in the park and enjoy a BBQ with friends.

Perth has a current population of 2.28 million and is home to world-class industry, infrastructure and educational institutions, as well as a vibrant cultural centre and a strong economy. Perth’s many schools and universities are considered some of the finest in Australia, with an outstanding record of graduate placement. Perth is optimally placed as the capital city of Western Australia, a State widely regarded as the economic engine of Australia in large part due to its vast endowment of mineral resources and open investment climate.

Perth also has the benefit of being located in the same time zone of many of the major economic hubs in the Asia-Pacific region, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Beijing, making important international business connections more efficient.
