During their Service Learning classes our compassionate Year 9s are working to support homeless people. On Friday 5 June, Jed and Aaron from the Perth Homeless Support Group shared with the students their personal stories about being homeless and what they do now to support those in the same dire situation.  They busted many myths and answered any questions the students had.

The next few weeks of term will see our Year 9s packaging first aid kits for those who sleep rough, and we hope to develop this partnership further by supporting them through some busy bee workshops.

Before our speakers left, we handed over blankets and linen collected from the community which we think will make a big difference in keeping the homeless of Perth warm.
