It takes a lot of skill and determination to juggle full time school with a rigorous tennis regimen, but Jake manages to do it with aplomb! Jake is the perfect combination, calm cool cat on the court and funny, energetic and thoughtful teenager off the court. And while he enjoyed reading John McEnroe’s autobiography, he agrees that smashing rackets when you lose a point is not the way to go! 

For his Bar Mitzvah, Jake lained his Haftorah and thoroughly enjoyed learning with Rabbi Dan in the year that led up to it. He says the best thing about Carmel are the great  teachers. (thanks Jake!)
