Although he was so nervous that his legs were shaking, Gil performed superbly for his Bar Mitzvah, laining his Haftorah and leading musaf like a pro!

Gil loved learning with Rabbi Dan and says that going to shule each week in the year leading up to his Bar Mitzvah was a definite highlight.

Gil enjoys being part of a big family and has fond memories of going to the zoo in Israel where a giraffe ate his lunch. He likes maths and science and is already looking forward to Year 9 Rotto camp. Gil spends his free time working up a sweat on the basketball court, coming home to a yummy dinner of mum’s fresh shnitzel and Savta’s red rice.

Gil lives his name – he is happy, positive and the ultimate chevraman!

Mazal tov Gil!
