We finished off the NWAS/ACC summer season on Wednesday 21 April with our Year 9 and 10 Girls’ Basketball Grand Final. The girls gave it their all but were beaten by a better team on the day in Aranmore College. They had an outstanding season, going through undefeated to finish as minor premiers in the regular season. Mazal tov for an outstanding effort throughout the season and in the Grand Final. We had excellent community support: parent Marc Havas volunteered his time to coach the girls each week and was superb in his leadership and encouragement, and our wonderful cheer squad of parents and staff for the Grand Final was very appreciated. Let’s see what we can achieve in the winter season ahead!
