Don’t stop us now - Todah! IPSHA Performing Arts Festival at Penrhos

On Wednesday 19 May some of our Year 5 and 6 students attended the IPSHA Performing Arts Festival held at Penrhos College and presented a song and dance representing our gratitude and thanks for all the good in our lives. Gratitude allows us to pause, notice and appreciate the things that we often take for granted.
The students sang a song called Todah and danced to a fantastic medley of Queen songs, including We Will Rock You, Don’t Stop Me Now and Another One Bites the Dust. The students performed remarkably well and were polished and slick! They enjoyed the time spent at Penrhos interacting with the students from other schools in workshops and at mealtimes as well as watching their performances.
Our grateful thanks go to Debbi Benn, to our upper school Music teacher Mrs Marcia Fisher and to choreographer Morah Bonita, who certainly prepared the students well, resulting in a brilliant performance of song and dance.
