The Marian Delcanho Memorial prize for Outstanding Contribution to Community and Carmel School Spirit sponsored by her OKC grandchildren Alana, Blake, Rachel & Michael and their families

The Menora Foundation Annual Volunteer Year 12 Award.

Alon is a very worthy recipient as he has been a continuous volunteer for Menora since he was 7 years old.

He attended Swap Meet at Karrinyup Shopping Centre with his mother - getting up at 5am to be there at 6, unpack goods, sell them and then be involved in repacking the van.

During his time in High School Alon has been quietly involved in selling goods for us via Gum tree and other avenues to raise significant funds for our Menora families.

Alon has clearly shown a desire to make a difference within our Perth Jewish Community.

We wish him success in all his future endeavours.

The Head of Secondary Award sponsored by the Jewish National Fund presented to a student in Year 12 for their positive contribution to the School Community. This should include an active contribution to their Mentor group, House and School. The student being awarded this prize will have acted as a leader, when the moment required and also would have been willing to step back and allow others to lead. They will have been inclusive and supportive of other encouraging them to succeed.
