Carmel High School welcomed Mrs Rivka Majteles in Week 6 to tell the incredible story of her survival of the Shoah to our Year 10 cohort. The students, who have spent the past semester learning about the Holocaust, were attentive and engaged throughout her talk and posed sensitive and thoughtful questions to Mrs Majteles afterwards. We were privileged to have heard her story first-hand.
